OGGIONO (LC) - In just over two months Oggiono will once again become the capital of international cycling, welcoming the best talents in the Under 23 world.
On Sunday, October 7, the Velo Club Oggiono of President Daniele Fumagalli will try to propose the Piccolo Giro di Lombardia that this year reaches the historic goal of the edition number 90.
A race that has made the history of cycling and which launched into the orbit of professionalism a myriad of young people who later became champions. In the last eight years, thanks to the skilful organization of Velo Club Oggiono, the event has grown further in prestige and has now become one of the most coveted stages from the strongest youngsters and the most famous teams from all over the world that this year have also sent mass request for membership of the Organizing Committee.
The event will be officially presented in the evening of Friday 7 September in Oggiono (Lecco) and in the coming weeks all the details will be revealed. What is certain is the confirmation of a path that in recent years has always been able to give emotions, with the passage from the Madonna del Ghisallo, the climb to Colle Brianza and all'Alpino of Villa Vergano, roads also known to the "Lombardia" of professionals , and that the next 7 October will be able to bring out a young talent of great perspective.
